Post-deployment mental health issues can sneak up on many military personnel and can have lingering effects on their families. We’ve discussed how post-traumatic stress symptoms and traumatic brain injury can negatively impact military families. Luckily, the stigma surrounding military mental health issues is shifting. Today’s Resource Discovery features a video from the Real Warriors Campaign YouTube channel. It highlights the experience of Staff Sergeant Josh Hopper, USMC and how he courageously sought out treatment for PTSD with the help of a military community coordinated response.
